Assistant Accountant
- 6–12-month contract

Supporting our client with transactional accounting and financial reporting the Assistant Accountant will bring at least 2 years New Zealand experience to this position.
Some of your duties will include:
- Reconciliations
- Accounts to trial balance
- Statutory Returns
- The annual budget
- The service costing process
We are looking for a tertiary qualified accountant who is a current member of the Chartered Accountants Association (CAANZ) or equivalent.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- A good understanding of accounting applications and financial systems
- Excellent IT skills with advanced-intermediate MS Excel skills
- Proven communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Strong analytical abilities and exceptional attention to details
- The ability to prioritise and meet set deadlines
