Finance Assistant

Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Services this role will provide strong financial support and contribute to the effectiveness of all financial systems, processes and controls. 

Responsibilities will be varied, and will include:

  • Accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Month end processing and reporting
  • Managing the fixed assets
  • General ledger and bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with the budget process and cashflow management
  • Managing grant applications
  • Overseeing sponsorship administration
  • Covering reception for lunch breaks

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a solid understanding of accounts and end of month reporting, combined with exceptional organisational, time management and analytical skills.  In addition your Microsoft knowledge will be strong, your attention to detail impressive and ability to communicate at all levels proven.  An accounting qualification will be advantageous but is not essential.
