Cleaner / OSH Forklift Operator
(This position will not suit part-time or summer holiday job seekers)
Our client provides products and services to foodservice, food processing, and hospitality, healthcare, industrial, oil and gas markets to keep their environment clean and safe.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work to join a global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services as a cleaner/OSH forklift operator.
You will have an eye for detail, health and safety conscious as you will be responsible for cleaning chemical containers for either re-use or recycling. These containers are large hence you will need you experience in operating a forklift to manoeuvre these along with a good level of fitness and strength. Occasionally some pick/packing will be involved.
This will be a temporary position however for the right candidate there may be opportunity to progress to a more permanent should one become available.
Hours are usually between Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm – 12midnight, Friday 2:30pm – 6:30pm.
To be considered for these roles you MUST have:
• Two references from two most recent jobs whom your reported to
• Clean criminal history
• Physically fit and able to constantly lift 25kgs
• Drug free
• Your OWN reliable transport
• OSH Forklift Certificate
All applicants will require relevant skills and experience which may include:
• forklift operating experience
• able to work in full personal protective equipment in an industrial environment
• able to stand and constantly lift for long periods of time
• an understanding of safety and the hazards of dealing with chemicals
