Our client operates from a very modern facility in Waikato, and they partner with a variety of industries including dairy, food processing, health care, energy and construction. These industries all require concept designs right through to commissioning of built product on client’s sites. Their workshops are state of the art, and the projects they work on are extremely varied and challenging.
This newly created opportunity will offer an ambitious, focused individual the chance to step into a leadership role. Working with a small team, you will be responsible for delivering high quality results across the breadth of the project lifecycle for a broad range of bespoke engineering projects. This will include:
- Project management
- Client management
Your focus will be managing and commissioning innovative solutions, leading and developing your team to work in the most efficient and effective way possible. Managing key stakeholder relationships will be an integral part of this role, therefore your relationship and communication skills will be impressive.
The preferred attributes are:
- A qualification in mechanical engineering or strong experience
- Previous design engineering experience
- Experience in the delivery of bespoke design build projects from tendering through to commissioning
- Solid mechanical engineering and problem solving skills
- Well-developed experience of 3D modelling software, preferably Solidworks
