Our client is a progressive company based in the Northern King Country, manufacturing and distributing farm machinery domestically and internationally.

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Fitter Welder to join their experienced team. We are looking for someone with experience in MIG welding and fabrication who has used a range of engineering hand and power tools. You will have the ability to read engineering drawings, operate basic machinery and have a strong knowledge of health and safety.

Our client is happy to pay for relocation costs, a tool allowance and overtime.

What you will bring to the role is your excellent attitude towards Health & Safety, the ability to work unsupervised as well as being a good team player. Being self-motivated and physically capable will be essential.

Ideally you will have a forklift license, a valid NZ driver’s license and basic computer skills. If you don’t have a forklift license our client is prepared to train onsite.
