Hospice Waikato has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities superstar to join the team.

Hospice Waikato is an organisation focused on leading the way in the growing specialist field of community palliative care. They are totally committed to providing patient focused, highly professional care, for Waikato people living with life limiting or life-threatening illnesses and for those who support them. 

The Facilities and Equipment Team Leader will have overall responsibility for managing Hopsice Waikato’s facilities to ensure their assets, property and vehicle fleet are being maintained, fit for purpose and compliant with all relevant legislative requirements.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in facilities management, maintenance planning, health and safety compliance and leading a small team.  You will be physically fit with the ability to manage the manual work that is required in the role. Previous experience working in the healthcare setting would be advantage.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake pre-employment health screening (including drug testing) and complete a Ministry of Justice criminal records check, the results of which must be to Hospice Waikato’s satisfaction.
