Finance Officer – Accounts Receivables

As a member of the finance team the Finance Officer is responsible for finance related data entry and processing. The purpose of this role is to verify, process and complete all accounts receivable transactions and proactively look for more cost effective and efficient methods of operating.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Data entry and processing of: Accounts Receivable Invoices and Credit notes
  • Assistance with credit control and debt collection when required
  • Relevant outputs and reporting
  • Banking payments received
  • Allocating cash receipts
  • Month end reconciliations
  • Daily update of cashflow position

You will be liaising with key customers and suppliers; therefore we are looking for someone with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Competency with MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel
  • Well-developed analytical skills
  • Sound financial acumen
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask, and prioritise
