Providing effective management and leadership of all food and environmental services staff on the southern rural sites of Tokoroa, Taumarunui and Te Kuiti Hospitals.
Our client’s vision is ‘Healthy People Excellent Care’. We are currently recruiting for a Manager, based in either of the sites listed above (or able to commute), to provide effective management and leadership for food services, cleaners and attendants.
Key responsibilities will include providing advice on food and environmental matters, coordinating Health & Safety concerns, facilitating positive relationships between services and other providers, and provide monthly reports to the Manager. Managing contracts for outsourced services and accountable for capital and operating budgets will be a big part of this role.
Essential to this role will be your previous leadership and management experience, general food safety knowledge and the ability to identify, develop and achieve efficiencies of scale working across three sites.
What would be desirable would be City and Guilds 706/1, 706/2, Food Hygiene Certification and/or a Dietitian qualification – an advantage but not essential.
