Payroll and Debtors Administrator
Experience in large payroll will be essential
Braemar Hospital is Waikato’s leading private hospital. With over 100 surgeons, physicians and anaesthetists credentialed to work at Braemar Hospital and 10 operating rooms they are one of the largest private hospitals in the country.
With high work demand a new role has been created to support the Payroll and Debtors Manager. Your responsibilities will include payroll for 230+ staff on a fortnightly basis, provide training to all new staff on the payroll system, ensuring leave registers are maintained, assisting staff with any payroll enquiries, preparing staff contracts, staff HR letters and assisting with debtor management.
A solid background in large payroll administration will be essential and you will need to have a good understanding of employment and HR legislation. Ideally some knowledge of the health sector would be a plus, as well as previous experience working with both collective and individual employment agreements. Strong data entry skills along with intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills are required.
You will need to be a self-starter, motivated and able to work autonomously whilst also having the ability to work in a close-knit team. This is a busy fast paced role and we are looking for someone who is passionate about payroll.
