Our client is looking for a Payroll Officer with at least two years’ experience to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring staff are paid accurately and on a timely basis, ensuring all PAYE, child support, ACC, and superannuation is paid. Completing payroll reconciliations and answering all payroll/wage enquiries are also part of this role.
You should have knowledge of wage related laws including the Wages Protection Act, an understanding of employment contracts and be proficient in computerised payroll systems (SAP would be an advantage).
To ensure your success in this position, you should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, basic accounting knowledge, and have the ability to work to meet deadlines. Furthermore, you will be detail oriented and methodical.
