Process Worker – Aluminium

Our client are experts in creating aluminium solutions across a range of sectors from marine, transport, windows, doors to mechanical engineering and agricultural industries. Services include custom extrusions and profile shapes, sheet, plate and coil products, design and manufacture, doors and windows.
Some responsibilities the role may include:
• Jigging, spraying and un-jigging aluminium
• Quality control and packing for despatch
• Pre-treating aluminium
• Identifying aluminium profiles and making colour changes
• Operation of manufacturing machinery and equipment
The role is a temporary assignment based Monday to Fridays with occasional Saturdays – mornings and evenings. Shifts are between 8 to 12 hour in length so flexibility a must. While it is a temporary position for the right candidate there is potential to go permanent after a period of time.
We are looking for process workers that have a strong work ethic with a proven history of being reliable, punctual and a high level of strength and fitness as the role can be physically demanding. You will have a good teamwork and communication skills, and a commitment to health and safety.
Previous experience in the aluminium, metal, roofing, powder coating industries advantageous. However will also suit those that are mechanically minded, fast paced, quick learners, go getters not afraid to roll up their sleeves.
