Procurement Specialist / Estimator

The Procurement Lead role is responsible for managing the ordering and procurement functions across the whole of the build process. The objective of the role is to ensure they have efficient and effective procurement strategies in place to maximise the profitability of the individual builds and group construction process and achieve customer satisfaction.
Key for this role will be your experience in estimating build prices and analysing and building tools to review and assure the cost baseline is validated. You will be managing the quoting workflow and assisting sales members with specifications, maintaining up to date pricing lists, performing job performance reviews and audits. You will have responsibility for supplier and subcontractor rates, evaluating alternative supply options for materials and trade services.
Working closely with Sales and Construction and understanding the requirements for each build and liaising with key suppliers and sub-contractors will be imperative in order to be successful in this role.
Experience in construction procurement is highly desirable, but more importantly will be strong interpersonal skills and a high level of motivation and competency around systems and databases.
