Production Assistant – part time

30 hours per week

Our client manufacture and supply signage and safety products throughout New Zealand. They are an established business operating for over 20 years.

Due to relocation of the current incumbent, the Production Assistant role has become available. this role is 30 hours per week. with great flexibility for the right person – our client are open to discussing what those hours would look like.

Being physically fit is a pre-requisite as some days you will be lifting 15 – 20kgs. It is not a hard physical role but you will be lifting aluminum sheets and cutting with a guillotine, light product assembly work, and cutting up and laminating finished signs.

Your responsibilities will include packing and dispatch processes to meet customer deadlines.
You will be working within a small team environment, so being self-motivated and having a ‘can do’ attitude is a must. Ideally you will have an understanding of a manufacturing environment.

You will be joining a great team environment, a supportive company and the flexibility to work within school hours if necessary.
