Project & Financial Administrator

Our client is a multi-discipline Waikato based engineering company that designs, builds, installs and commissions turnkey projects across various sectors throughout New Zealand.  From food processing to water treatment, they partner with their clients to provide innovative and reliable solutions.

Reporting to the Finance & Systems Manager, you will provide project and financial support for the many and varied projects they undertake.  This will include:



  • Preparing project purchase orders

  • Setting up project budgets in Workflow Max
  • Preparing customer invoices
  • Weekly & monthly project reporting
  • Supporting project managers with administration
  • Financial reconciliations for projects
  • Continuous improvement of processes and reporting

This is a great opportunity for a person with a strong numerical ability who wants more than a number crunching position.  You will be an integral part of both small and large projects, and interact with a variety of engineering teams and project managers.  An enquiring, numerical mind is essential, along with solid problem solving ability, outstanding interpersonal skills, tenacity and high levels of motivation.  The successful candidate will have the potential to grow their skills in financial analysis and reporting.
