Provincial Administrator – part time

Part time – 25 hours a week

The Waikato Federated Farmers organisation has been operating for 75 years.  The office looks after the Waikato Region for meetings, and communicates with our elected members from the Dairy, Meat & Wool and Arable Industries.

This position provides support to the President and other elected positions and includes providing a full range of secretarial services to the Provincial President and elected representatives, organising and sending out notification for face to face or zoom meetings, recording and minute taking. Also working closely with National Federated Farmers, you will be organising workshops and overseeing the provincial finances and processing invoices and expense claims through Xero.

Extra hours will be required occasionally, outside of normal working hours to attend meetings. This role offers an opportunity to work both from home and in the office.

To be successful in this role you will offer proven office/administration experience along with previous experience using Xero. Experience in event management if preferred, however not essential, as is experience taking minutes at meetings.

Previous experience or knowledge of farming would be desirable.
