About the Role
2021 brings some exciting changes for Canary Foods. They are kicking off the year with the establishment of a newly created afternoon shift which will operate 2.30pm – 11pm Monday to Friday. To ensure a highly functioning team is developed we are seeking eight skilled and dynamic people for the roles of shift operators involving process work, machine operating, warehouse support and forklift operating.
Initial training for all new employees will take place in January and February during which time you will be required to work dayshift – the afternoon shift will be operational in March 2021.
You will have a proven history of a strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality. You will be a team player and able to work in with a close-knit team. Essential are good communication, numeracy and literacy skills, as well as a strong commitment to health and safety. These positions will utilise your production, quality, and hygiene standards, along with your technical capability. Previous experience in food manufacturing, machine operating, and a F endorsed forklift license advantageous however we welcome applications from other areas.
