Shift Supervisor
Are you keen to start 2021 with a new and exciting opportunity? Does working for a niche provider of premium dairy products to the global market excite you? Would working an afternoon shift Monday to Friday compliment your family/personal lifestyle, maybe saving on childcare costs or allowing you to train for personal sporting interests?
It all started with an idea back in 2001! Canary Foods established a unique method of producing butter products using grass fed, premium New Zealand butter which you have to agree, is the best butter in the world! Along the way they have continued to have an unrelenting focus on their customers’ needs which has resulted in a broad range of butter products being exported to a wide range of countries around the globe.
2021 brings some exciting changes for Canary Foods. They are kicking off the year with the establishment of a newly created afternoon shift which will operate 2.30pm – 11pm Monday to Friday. To ensure a highly functioning team is developed we are seeking a skilled and dynamic person for the roles of Shift Supervisor.
Your production experience will impress as will your ability to coach and mentor people, bringing them on a journey. This position will utilise your production, quality, and H&S skills, along with your technical capability. As a skilled leader, your motivation and commitment to continuous improvement will be well developed.
We are looking for a proven leader to take up this key position. Experience in a food manufacturing industry would be an advantage but we welcome applications from other areas. The Shift Supervisor will be instrumental in recruiting a great team of Shift Operators to start early 2021. Initial training for all new employees will take place in January and February during which time you will be required to work dayshift – the afternoon shift will be operational in March 2021.
