Our client, a privately owned and operated engineering company, provides specialist expertise in design, manufacture, installation and maintenance. They have a great team atmosphere with approximately 100 staff and are looking for an exceptional Stores Supervisor to join their team.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, your role will include:
• Internal counter sales of parts and equipment
• Efficient processing of all purchase orders
• Reconciling order numbers and supplier invoices
• Actioning credit requests
• Maintaining optimum levels of stock
• Coordinating delivery of goods to site
The successful candidate will have the ability to build great working relationships with colleagues and suppliers, providing levels of customer service that are second to none! Your computer skills will be well developed and ideally you’ll have previous experience with purchasing although for the right person training will be provided. High attention to detail and a ‘can do’ attitude are essential, as is the ability to excel under pressure and be a highly effective multi-tasker!
