About the opportunity                  

Working within the wider operations team of this fast-paced CPG company, this role oversees the end-to-end management of all supply chain functions. Responsible for purchasing, planning, warehousing and distribution, you’ll ensure supplies of raw and finished goods are available within required timeframes and budgets. Based in Te Aroha, you’ll be immersed in the manufacturing and commercial aspects of the business, and work alongside the Senior Leadership Team on exciting future growth and development opportunities.

About You
With substantial experience across the supply chain, you will have sound knowledge in end-to-end practices and can apply an integrated approach to business objectives. A forward planner, you will demonstrate the ability to anticipate and plan with cross functional cooperation. Thriving on developing a high performing team, you are a strong communicator and are able to influence and demonstrate leadership across the business.

Additionally, you will have:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a relevant Supply Chain Management role
  • Expert knowledge working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office/Google applications
  • Strong knowledge in Procurement, Production Planning, MRP, Sales & Operations Planning, Warehousing and Distribution.
  • Sound knowledge of HR practices associated with people management
  • General business knowledge with a strong customer focus
  • Strong knowledge in Inventory Control and management of Third-Party Contract suppliers
  • Expertise in project management, including strong skills in planning and execution
