Team Leader

An opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled leader to join a large, national organisation in their Hamilton office.  This organisation is going through a lot of change, particularly around automating processes, therefore it is important that the person appointed is strong at leading people through change.   Sitting within the Financial Team, your team delivers transactional services including accounts payable, receivable and purchase card administration.

Managing a team of approximately eight people, your responsibilities will be varied and will include:

  • Managing resources to ensure deadlines are met
  • Overseeing quality control and process improvement methods
  • Responding to enquiries and requests, both internal and external
  • Leading the team and individuals to maximise potential
  • Managing budgets and financial delegations

The person we seek will demonstrate strong skills, experience and a commitment to ongoing development.  In addition their interpersonal, time management and planning skills will be second to none, as will their ability to build key relationships.  Leadership capability is key, along with the ability to get the best from a diverse team of individuals.  Previous experience within a change management environment will be an advantage, as will strong technical and system knowledge.
