Warehouse Coordinator / Store Person
New Zealand (Only applicants currently residing in New Zealand with immediate eligibility to work without restrictions will be considered.)
Based in Hamilton, our client, a leading welder of speciality steel fabrication companies in New Zealand and Australia, is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for a short-term role through until at least Christmas. Join a customer-focused team with proven expertise in design, implementation, and improvement of manufactured components.
About the Role:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am – 3:30pm
- Responsibilities:
- Unload / Load trucks (experience with use of jibs on forklift)
- Pick packing
- Moving stock
- Stock taking
- Data entry
- Inwards/outwards receipting
Requirements:
- Proven forklift experience (heavy forklift with jib/extensions), and comfortable with heavy and awkward loads (OSH forklift license)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP ideal)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good numeracy & literacy skills
- Attention to detail
- High level of initiative and ability to work autonomously
- Previous experience in engineering or construction industries is ideal
