Warehouse / Delivery Assistant
Our client has been selling appliances for 65 years. They have always prided themselves on the level of knowledge, advice and service they give their customers.
We are looking at placing a person into an established team where you will be responsible for delivering and installing home appliances to customers’ homes and businesses. As you will be dealing direct with our customers you will be the face of our business and therefore your customer skills, communication and presentation will be second to none.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager additional responsibilities will include inwards goods receipting, stock deliveries, and maintaining warehouse standards.
You will have strong work ethic with a proven history of being reliable, punctual and accurate in what you do. Previous experience in logistics, freight/delivery services advantageous.
Your work schedule is Monday – Friday 7:45am – 5:30pm and alternate Saturdays 9am – 5pm and some occasional Sundays 10am – 5pm.
To be considered for these roles you MUST:
- Have a clean, full class 1, manual license
- Physically fit and able to constantly lift heavy items
- No criminal convictions
- Drug free
- Two references from two most recent jobs whom your reported to
