Our client is a leader in the manufacture and supply of products to the domestic and export markets. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for leading a culture that focusses on the safe and effective storage of product, robust inventory management, full traceability trough a modern MRP system and timely dispatch of customer orders.
Leading a team of seven, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, training and coaching a skilled and motivated team
- Ensuring safe, timely and accurate inventory management and movements
- Managing cyclical stocktakes
- Maintaining effective usage of storage space
- Export container management
- Ensuring warehouse best practices are adhered to
The preferred applicant will demonstrate high levels of personal integrity and initiative, strong attention to detail and an outstanding attitude towards customer service. You will bring proven warehouse management experience to the role and impress us with your commitment to continuous improvement. The capacity to deal with ambiguity and problem solving is critical, as is the ability to develop and implement new systems. A full, current New Zealand driver’s licence is essential and F endorsement is preferred. Drug testing will be part of the process for the preferred candidate.
